Thx for the update WiFi, funny, but even after I have left.....
I still want to highlight everything I read... aaaahhhhh!!!
a highlighting and bookmarking feature been added to the jw library app.
it has the option of highlighting in yellow, green, pink or blue.. yellow for when they piss on your face and tell you it is raining?.
green for every time the publications ask for money?.

prologue... .
a brief precursor about myself.
i've been lurking around for almost 2 years.
Welcome, welcome welcome!
I am in my 60's, and my whole life have had a love of children... look into their eyes, what do you see? you see what they are thinking... spend some time with them, you can see the thrill they have in learning, exploring, discovering. I still feel that way (even at my age) when I talk to little ones.
You have a child, that will help you explore the world through their eyes, and they will LOVE that you are with them! I just watched this YouTube video about a dad teaching his little boy (only a little over one year old) how to break dance... Dad would bop and hop and spin a bit, and then he'd stop... point at his son, to say, "you're on! go for it"... then his SON would jive and move and try to "spin" wobble, stand up and point at his dad! "Go dad!" The look on his face was preeeeecccciiiooooouuusss! Spend time with your kids, it is heartwarming! A treasure!
They may give you ideas you never have thought of... enjoy each second, do not waste one!
Let us know how it goes,
cha ching!
i was just thinking that the org has said lots of outrageous things over it's history and most jws just continue onward without a second thought.
so my question is what do you think would have to be said from the platform or wt to get people to get up and walk out immediately?
is it even possible?
"Listen Obey & Be Blessed" & "Do whatever we tell you no matter what" make it hard.
I am starting to think, that even IF the organization was shown to be corrupt, the R&F would look for replacements, and keep going.
Personally, if someone had a video, or tape recording of the GB making light of people, downgrading them, showing no regard for them in their meetings "Who cares if that hall has no money, we have our retirement don't we?" or "So what if the blood policy is made up, we'll change it someday, meanwhile, everyone dies sometime, don't worry about the kids dying" or "Oh, Geoffrey, you have leukemia? Oh, we'll have to start changing the policy on blood, or better yet, just accept the blood, and we won't tell!" or "Haha! Who cares what's in the Bible, we just made up what we wanted in the past, we can make it up now!!!"
Possibly, just possibly, if people were able to hear what realllllly happens behind closed doors, from their own mouths, maybe... maybe it would make a difference?

in a separate thread on the very latest figures for the current world wide annual report of jws, discussion turned to how "we'll know decline has really set in.
one of the posters said: .
the figure that interests me most is the number of congregations.
Welcome WTS Archive! Sounds as if you are in Poland, close to where my sister-in-law came from (Romania) She was never a JW, and a couple of weeks ago she was sharing her perspective of living under Communism, and my life as a JW (In the U.S.) ... Maybe you could start a thread, and give us some insight into life over there? I hope so, and wish you well on your journey!
cha ching!
recently ive posted on fb a meme where a two pairs of hands held open a bible and the quram side by side.
then i wrote on it:.
(faith + fundamentalism) x (hate + propaganda) = legitimation of intolerance and violence.

pot calling the kettle black?
no one can do it better than the wt!.
You said it right Flipper, "criminal organization", & hopefully, they will be treated as such, when "the truth is revealed"
Hopefully, James Mixon , the GB's "pride will come before a fall"... At least that will be one scripture they can fulfill!
So true Billy!
I like that, LisaRose! That phrase is a great one to describe their tactics, "best offense is a good defense".... Smoke & mirrors!

the costs for using the assembly hall for a one day last saturday was $12,000 with another assembly for the other half of the circuit on sunday, which will ring up another $12,000.
if the assembly was for two days the friends might roll their eyes if it were announced the costs for the two days was $24,000.
Thank you Cofty! You have restored my hope in human kind!

It just warms my heart!

And B.S. (great name!) the WT makes you feel good when they steal from you. Hey! they could make you feel good about sacrificing your child to Molech!
It boils within me that WT can say "Don't name call," but quite freely using any defaming, disparaging, derogatory handy term necessary to make themselves look "righteous" .
Ahhhhhh, but here is the MOST frustrating part of it... They won't say it to your FACE, they won't let you 'tell your side of the story'...
I guess this quote just says it all.... right from the pot's mouth:
*** w08 2/1 p. 20 Managing Conflicts ***
A proud individual attempts to elevate himself by constantly putting others down. He might do so by means of name-calling or negative comparisons.
Consider the example of the Pharisees and scribes of Jesus’ day. When anyone—even a fellow Pharisee—expressed an opinion that differed from that of these proud individuals, they resorted to name-calling and derogatory remarks. (John 7:45-52)
Jesus was different. He empathized with others when they expressed themselves to him.—Matthew 20:29-34; Mark 5:25-34.
